This passion for clay was born back in 2013. I started making weird and nonsense figures, I never thought of selling them. Once I started to perfect the technique my university classmates started to encourage me to sell them, so I gave a chance to this skill that keeps improving day by day.

However, it wasn't until 2016 when I felt ready to launch the brand on social networks.

Although small businesses were not as present on social networks as they are now, there was a lot of receptivity. I remember there were so many early mornings with so much work that my family had to help me with packaging.

And little by little Merakicharms went from being a chrysalis to a beautiful butterfly with the desire to fly very high.🦋

It will be almost a year since I moved to the US, I got married with the love of my life and although there have been many changes, my husband and I have built little by little this place that I call “my refuge”. A studio that defines me completely, where I feel comfortable creating and materializing my ideas.

For me it is a dream to wake up every morning, open the window of my office and spend hours creating.
It is my place to let my ideas fly.🦋
